How do I stop my robot vacuum from leaving dark marks on hardwood floors?

Clean the robot’s tires first. Wipe the rubber wheels with a damp cloth or alcohol wipe after every few runs. Also lower the suction to “hard floor” mode to prevent dragging dirt. If marks persist, swap rubber treads for a soft roller or silicone bristle brush.
