How do I keep produce dry in a cooler?

Bag everything in zip-top bags with the air pressed out and add a dry paper towel inside each bag to absorb condensation. For leafy greens, wrap them in a slightly damp paper towel first, then bag them. Keep produce off the cooler floor in a separate container or mesh bag so melted ice drains below. Change the towel daily on long trips.
