How do I fix guitar feedback in a small room?

Turn down your guitar’s volume knob, not the amp. Rolling it back a notch breaks the feedback loop without killing your tone. If that doesn’t work, point your guitar away from the amp or cut mids/highs on the amp’s EQ. A noise gate pedal is a permanent fix but takes setup.
