How do I fast charge an M2 or M3 MacBook Air?

Use a 67W or 70W USB-C power adapter with a MagSafe 3 cable to get 0 to 50% in about 30 minutes. A USB-C cable that supports USB Power Delivery also works, but MagSafe is more convenient and avoids port wear. The 30W or 35W adapters won’t fast charge. The M1 MacBook Air doesn’t support fast charging at all.
