How did Hiroshi Yoshimura record Music for Nine Post Cards?

Yoshimura recorded the whole album at home with just a keyboard and a Fender Rhodes. He was inspired by clouds, shade, rain, and snow, and the minimal gear matched his minimalist vision perfectly.
