How can I protect blossoms from frost using water?

Run sprinklers continuously from before frost hits until ice melts naturally. The water releases heat as it freezes, keeping blossoms at 32°F. Covers work too if they go to the ground and are fabric or frost cloth, not plastic. Don’t use tarps or trash bags—they cause more harm.
