How can I fix Wi-Fi drops on my MacBook Air running Sequoia?
Regarding the MacBook Air: Most Wi-Fi drops come down to network congestion, a stale DNS cache, or a wonky Wi-Fi channel. Start by rebooting your router. On the Mac, hold Option and click the Wi-Fi icon, open Wireless Diagnostics, and scan for clean channels—use 5 GHz if supported. Then reset network settings by removing and re-adding your Wi-Fi service, and flush DNS with sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder in Terminal. On Intel Macs, try turning off “Limit IP Address Tracking” in Wi-Fi settings, and keep macOS updated.
