How can I expand the number of bays on the TerraMaster F5-422?

Plug in TerraMaster’s USB 3.0 expansion units, like the D5-300 series, via the USB 3.0 ports for a straightforward daisy-chain. Just note that USB 3.0 tops out at 5 Gbps, so don’t expect screaming throughput on the expansion bus.
