How can I expand storage on the Asustor AS6604T?

You can expand storage via an external USB enclosure or by connecting an Asustor expansion unit through its USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. It has more options than smaller Asustor models, but all expansion is USB-based — no PCIe or eSATA for internal expansion.
