Hard pads vs soft cloth pads for mouse skates: Hard pads destroy skates, cloth pads barely wear them

Soft cloth pads barely wear any aftermarket skate, even after a year. Hard pads (glass, plastic, aluminum) chew through skates in months or weeks. Tiger Arc skates are harder PTFE and last longer on hard pads than softer Corepads, but both wear faster than on cloth. Switch to cloth if you want to stop thinking about skate wear.
