No. TRX40 boards treat ECC RAM as regular unbuffered memory — it boots, but error correction won’t activate. You’re paying extra for unused features. For actual ECC, go with Threadripper Pro on WRX80 or a Ryzen system with the right board. Save your money and buy faster non-ECC sticks instead.
