Does mousepad quality matter at high DPI settings?

Not really. At 3200+ DPI, sensor noise and hand micro-movements matter more than pad material. A cheap cloth pad works fine; hard pads won’t reduce cursor jitter or improve pixel-level accuracy. For precision, lower your in-game sensitivity instead of cranking DPI. Spend your money on a better mouse sensor.
