No. RAM upgrades are plug and play — just swap the sticks and your OS will automatically detect the new memory. You don’t need to reinstall, update drivers, or change settings. The only exception is you may need to enable XMP or EXPO in the BIOS once to get the advertised speed, but that’s a one-time firmware setting, not a software change.
