Do extended desk pads cause keyboard wobble?

Not really. A standard thin cloth desk pad (2–3mm) won’t introduce bounce because your keyboard’s rubber feet grip through the fabric. The real risk is only with thick memory-foam pads, but that’s rare and easily fixed by removing the pad from the keyboard area.
