Do eGPUs work with Apple Silicon Macs?

No. Apple dropped external GPU support when they moved from Intel to M1, and M2 and M3 are the same story. The hardware is physically incompatible, macOS won’t recognize it, and there’s no driver or workaround. Your only options for more graphics power are a MacBook Pro with a built-in discrete GPU or a Mac Mini/Mac Studio.
