CYA reducers vs draining: Draining wins on speed and cost

Enzyme-based CYA reducers take weeks and require strict monitoring, while draining a third to half the pool is faster, cheaper, and more reliable. For high CYA (100+), multiple enzyme doses get expensive and slow. Only use enzymes if you can’t drain due to restrictions or liner issues.
