Cordura pads vs cloth pads: Cordura wins on consistency in humidity

Cordura pads hold their glide better than cloth in humidity and are more comfortable than hard pads. Cloth pads turn muddy in humid weather, while hard pads are fast but loud and abrasive. Cordura’s woven nylon doesn’t absorb moisture, so the surface stays stable. The tradeoff is feel—Cordura isn’t as soft and can feel scratchy—but for consistent glide, it’s worth it.
