Can I sit on a cheap cooler?

Probably not, unless you bought a rotomolded cooler. That $30 Igloo from the gas station will crack the first time you plop down on it. The thin plastic just can’t handle your weight. I wouldn’t sit on any cooler that doesn’t cost at least $100 new.
