Can I daisy-chain power strips and extension cords?

No — and if you think you need to, you’re doing something wrong. Extension cords are for temporary use and already have a voltage drop; plugging a power strip into one adds resistance and increases fire risk. The only safe way to get more reach is a single, properly-rated extension cord of the right length and gauge. If you need more outlets, get a longer cord with a multi-outlet end — don’t stack them.
