Are the Nature Guide 10x42 binoculars good for kids?

The Nature Guide 10x42 binoculars only work if your kid is built like a small adult — the focus wheel is stiff for small hands and the interpupillary distance doesn’t go narrow enough for most kids under eight. I’d steer most parents toward a good pair of compact 8x21s instead.
