Selfie sticks and extended poles are banned on the Hurricane Deck. Ride operators will require you to stash them before boarding.

The ban is for safety reasons. A pole can fly off and hit someone or jam the ride mechanism.

Holding the pole tightly does not make it safe. The risk of it coming loose is still real.

A plain handheld GoPro or phone is usually allowed. The pole itself is the problem, not the camera.
