  1. The album was recorded at Wessex Sound Studios in London between July 7 and August 13, 1969.
  2. Initial recording sessions with Moody Blues producer Tony Clarke failed and were scrapped.
  3. The band produced the album themselves after Clarke’s sessions didn’t work out.
  4. Robin Thompson engineered the album, with assistance from Tony Page.
  5. The final recording took just over a month to complete at Wessex Sound.
