Check the motherboard’s Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for your exact RAM model. This is the only guarantee the manufacturer tested and confirmed the kit works.

If your 32GB dual-rank stick isn’t on the QVL, it might still work, but there’s no promise. Modern DDR4 and DDR5 boards usually handle dual-rank fine if they support 32GB per slot.

Dual-rank RAM has two sets of memory chips on one stick. It’s slightly harder on the memory controller than single-rank, especially when filling all four slots.
