5 Things to Know About Coach’s Warranty on Resold Bags

Coach will not repair a bag bought from a reseller. If you did not buy directly from a Coach store or an authorized retailer, the official warranty is void.

The warranty covers only the original owner. Coach’s warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship for the first buyer only.

Third-party sales void the warranty. Once a bag is sold on eBay, Poshmark, a thrift store, or consignment shop, Coach considers it a used item with no warranty left.

Authenticity does not guarantee free repairs. Even if the bag is authentic, Coach will not perform a free repair on a secondhand purchase.

Paid repairs are possible but not guaranteed. Coach may offer paid repair services at their discretion, but it is not cheap and is not a warranty claim.
