Replace the nut The stock plastic nut causes string binding and tuning issues. Swap it for a TUSQ nut or have a tech file the slots correctly with graphite or nut lube.

Upgrade the bridge The stock rocking bridge can slide around under heavy strumming. A Mastery or Staytrem bridge locks the saddles in place and improves break angle.
