5 Steps to Take Before Assuming Your MacBook Air Logic Board Is Dead

Force restart the MacBook Air Hold the power button for 10 seconds until the system shuts down, then press it again to turn it on. This clears temporary glitches that mimic logic board failure.

Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) On M1 Airs, shut down, plug in power, hold the power button for 10 seconds, then release and turn on. On Intel models, press Shift+Control+Option+Power simultaneously. This fixes power and thermal issues.
