5 Safety Rules for Automatic Pool Cleaners
Unplug before touching Always unplug the power supply or cord before reaching into the water or touching the cleaner. Even when switched off, the socket is still live.
Use a GFCI outlet Make sure your pool equipment is plugged into a GFCI outlet. If it isn’t, install one before using the cleaner.
Keep cords and hoses out of walkways Position the cord and hose so nobody trips over them. This prevents falls and damage to the equipment.
Don’t let kids play near the cleaner The floating cord and the cleaner itself are not toys. Keep children away from both.
Rinse after use in chlorinated or salt water If you use a chlorine or salt system, rinse the cleaner occasionally. This prevents chemical corrosion of the seals.
