Your fingers must navigate a maze of cables. Compact cases cram everything together, so you’ll be routing your hand around power cables and headers.

The RAM might be behind the GPU, requiring you to pull the whole card out. If the motherboard is mounted that way, a 30-second job becomes a 10-minute one with risk of bumping something loose.

The physical effort is night and day compared to a mid-tower. Mid-tower is one thumb press. ITX is a game of Tetris with your hands.
