4 Ways to Avoid Railing Reflections in Tower Photos

Shoot through gaps in the railing Press your camera lens between two vertical bars and shoot straight through. This avoids reflections and shadows that appear when you hold the camera above the railing.

Use a polarizing filter Rotate the filter until bright reflections off mist and glass disappear. If you don’t have one, shoot earlier or later in the day when the sun isn’t hitting the tower’s windows directly.
