4 Reasons to Use a Cable Ramp for Your Driveway

Prevents cord damage Vehicles will crush, pinch, or cut extension cords laid directly on driveways, even heavy-duty ones. A rubber or plastic cable ramp spreads the vehicle’s weight and protects the cord from being pinched or chafed.

Avoids fire hazards A damaged cord can short out and start a fire. Spending $20–40 on a ramp is cheaper than replacing cords or dealing with an electrical fire.
