4 Reasons a Cooler Divider Is the Only Accessory You Need
Dividers keep food separate from drinks and dry items away from dripping meat. A simple divider costs about $15 and slides in without permanent changes.
Most other cooler accessories are overpriced and underperform. Baskets take up space you could fill with ice and drinks. Cup holders are unnecessary—set your cup on the ground or the cooler lid.
Generic third-party dividers work just as well as branded ones and cost half. Look for Igloo or Yeti style dividers from third-party sellers.
Beyond a divider, a mesh bag for produce or a reusable ice pack is smarter than any branded accessory. Unless you’re tailgating for a week straight, you don’t need a cooler that doubles as a table.
