3 Ways to Confirm Dual-Channel RAM Support

  1. Check the motherboard manual Jump to the memory layout section. It shows which slots to use for dual-channel, typically A2 and B2 or the two same-colored slots.

  2. Look at the motherboard itself DIMM slots are almost always color-coded, like two gray and two black. Populate the same color first for dual-channel.
