The pass works at most federal sites It is accepted at NPS, USFS, FWS, BLM, Reclamation, and Army Corps lands. But it is not universal.

Some sites operated by private contractors opt out Concessionaire-run visitor centers, boat ramps, or historic houses may not accept passes. State parks and non-federal attractions never do.

Check before you go Look up the specific site on recreation.gov or call ahead. If it says “America the Beautiful Pass accepted,” you are good. Otherwise, expect to pay full price.
