3 Things to Know About LIDAR Calibration on the Dreame L20 Ultra
You don’t need to calibrate the LIDAR manually The sensor self-calibrates every time the robot starts cleaning. There is no manual calibration mode in the app or on the vacuum.
Navigation issues are almost never a calibration problem Drifting, spinning, or bad maps are usually caused by dust on the sensor, a stuck bumper, or something blocking the LIDAR tower. Clean the sensor with a dry microfiber cloth, clear any obstructions, and restart the robot.
Let the robot recalibrate itself Run Quick Mapping from the app or let it do a full cleaning run. If problems persist, contact Dreame support. Manual calibration is not a feature on this sealed consumer product.
