3 Steps to Fix Overlapping Room Maps on Your Robot Vacuum

Delete the existing map from the app Overlapping rooms happen when the robot tries to merge different mapping runs or when furniture was moved during mapping. Wiping the map clean is the most reliable fix.

Run a dedicated mapping pass Use a “Quick Map” or similar mode with every door open and obstacles like shoes and cords removed. Let the robot finish completely before setting up no-go zones or room labels.
